Eezi-Awn Dragonfly: Quick Deploy 180-Degree Awnings
The new Dragonfly awnings use the same construction as Eezi-Awn’s Bat and Manta awnings. That means features like the 260g waterproof ripstop canvas and fully adjustable legs. But unlike those 270-degree awnings, the Dragonflies open 180 degrees.
Easy Eezi-Awn Operation
Eezi-Awn says the Dragonfly awnings can be set up in under a minute thanks to the self-contained aluminum framework. The aluminum extrusions fold out easily, with legs that drop down and lock into position with a simple twist. Taking down the awning should take the same amount of time because it is equally simple. Untwist the locks and fold everything back up.
The Dragonfly awning adjustable leg can handle any height up to 92 inches. They can also be used with stakes if you need shade when the wind picks up.
Other Dragonfly awning features include a UV-resistant PVC cover for when the awning is stowed and a front leg that sits just in from 90 degrees. The leg’s position makes sure it doesn’t try to be in the same space as your vehicle’s body.
60 or 95 Square Feet of Coverage
The larger of the two, the Dragonfly 180, offers a total of 95 square feet of shade. Despite covering that big area, it weighs in at a roof-rack-friendly 55 pounds. Both awnings attach to most roof racks using the included C-channel mounts. There are also mounts to attach to Eezi-Awn’s K9 and Load Bar rack systems.
The smaller Dragonfly 180 Mini offers 60 square feet of shade. Built just like its bigger sibling, it offers the same mounting features and easy up-down operation. It is lighter by 10 pounds, adding 45 pounds to your vehicle.
